Board votes to prepare 2025 tax levy; public vote set for December

Dr. Tom Lind invited Mrs. Levendoski to review options and answer questions on the district's 'Flat vs Raised Levy' information before the final levy vote in December. After discussion, Board Member Schwartz moved and Board Member Shufelt seconded a resolution to prepare the 2025 tax levy, which passed by roll call vote 6–0.
The board did not adopt a final levy rate on Nov. 24; the motion authorized preparing the levy documentation for the formal vote at the Dec. 17, 2025 meeting. Board members were given the opportunity to ask questions of district staff and the district's financial representative prior to the December decision.
