Assistant Superintendent Sheila Coussens‑Martin and Superintendent Dr. Danielle Owens explained that the updates were made either to comply with various cited Acts, to meet compliance requirements, or for continuous improvement; the transcript records the committee noting those rationales but does not name the specific statutes.
