Board approves multi-year contracts for superintendent, assistant superintendent and CFO
Summary
The board approved employment contracts for Superintendent Dr. Danielle Owens, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Sheila Coussens-Martin, and CFO Carla Schaefer, each effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030. Motions for the contracts passed on roll call during the March 23 meeting.
President Ryan Wrigley introduced the recommended employment contracts and thanked the administrators for their service. The board approved the Superintendent Employment Contract for Dr. Danielle Owens (effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030) on a motion by Terry Fischer, seconded by Joe Alesandrini. The board likewise approved employment contracts for Assistant Superintendent Dr. Sheila Coussens-Martin and Chief Financial Officer Carla Schaefer with the same effective dates and terms as presented.
Board comments were uniformly complimentary about the administrative team; no amendments to the contracts were recorded in the minutes. Each contract vote passed on roll call with listed board members voting yea where recorded.
