Milam thanked the court and reflected on partnerships between the city and county, citing joint efforts on projects including a 23‑acre nature park and pandemic response coordination. "It's been a a great ride," Milam said, adding he was proud of the interagency work that helped the region manage vaccinations and other joint services. Judge Trevino and other commissioners offered personal remarks praising Milam’s integrity and leadership.
