On May 18 the Rankin School District #98 Board awarded the milk bid for the 2026–27 school year to Better Beverages, Inc. on an escalator-price basis and approved the proposed cafeteria pricing for 2026–27.
Board members approved student breakfast at $2.00 and adult breakfast at $2.30; student lunch $3.10 and adult lunch $3.65. Additional entrées will cost $2.00 and à la carte items $2.15. Motions to award the bid and adopt prices passed by roll-call vote, 6–0.
