The Will County SD 92 Board of Education voted unanimously April 21 to approve a physical therapist job description and salary.
Member Washington moved to approve the job description and salary and member Dopke seconded; the motion passed with ayes from Washington, Gorecki, Tidwell, Przybyl, Dopke, Pavlinic and Dusterhoft. Board President Matt Dusterhoft asked about the candidate pool; Director of Student Services Nora Skentzos replied that it is difficult to know at this time.
The action allows Human Resources to proceed with recruitment under the approved job description and salary; the district had listed the therapist hire as an item in administrative reports and earlier personnel planning.
