Motion by member Washington, seconded by member Gorecki, to approve the Consent Agenda passed unanimously (ayes: Przybyl, Gorecki, Dopke, Washington, Tidwell, Pavlinic, and Dusterhoft). The consent items included minutes, treasurer and financial reports, monthly expenditures, personnel actions (new hires, resignations and long‑term leaves), destruction of a closed‑session recording from Oct. 15, 2024, and lunch prices for 2026–27: Elementary and Jr. High student lunches $3.60; reduced lunch $0.40; adult lunch $4.10.
The board also unanimously approved the Consolidated District Plan on a motion by member Gorecki, seconded by member Dopke. Later in the meeting the board approved a physical therapist job description and salary on a motion by member Washington, seconded by member Dopke; President Matt Dusterhoft declared both motions carried.
The meeting included routine administrative updates from Superintendent Kirsten Frankovich, who noted a successful ROE compliance visit and invited the public to a wheelchair basketball event April 23 with Lincoln Way Special Recreation Association. Mina Flannery, the AFT union representative, told the board that "the union is advocating for the staff with upcoming negotiations," signaling union engagement ahead of contract talks.
