The board approved the district’s 2026–27 staffing plan after Superintendent Dr. Salemi confirmed there were no changes to the proposal that had been discussed at the previous meeting. The motion, made by Rose Ortiz and seconded by Dana Wesolowski, carried with six Yeas and one absence.
Dr. Salemi framed the plan as consistent with the district’s staffing needs and the recently adopted strategic plan. Board members did not request further adjustments at the April 16 meeting.
Why it matters: The staffing plan sets personnel allocations and roles that will affect classroom assignments and hiring for the coming school year.
