Superintendent Dr. Salemi told the Board the district does not anticipate changes to full-time-equivalent staffing for 2026–27 and that class sizes should remain approximately 18–22 students. The report framed staffing as stable heading into next school year and provided a planning baseline for classroom assignments.
Dr. Salemi also announced that Westchester Middle School will pause its Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) class for the 2026–27 year and staff will reevaluate the course with a goal of returning a more relevant program in the 2027–28 school year.
