The consent motion was made by Board Member Cynthia Peranich and seconded by Gina Sanchez; the motion carried with six ayes and one absence recorded (Stephanie Boyd).
The consent package also included the second reading and adoption of four district policies: Policy 5-10 (Equal Employment Opportunity and Minority Recruitment), Policy 5-90 (Abused and Neglected Child Reporting), Policy 6-60 (Curriculum Content), and Policy 6-130 (Program for the Gifted). The personnel report and the adopted policies were made available to the public via BoardBook and at the meeting.
