Board recognizes student teams and program graduates

At the start of the Feb. 24 meeting, the Principal and the Board recognized several student achievements: the Varsity Poms team for state and national performances; four students who earned recognition in the Regional Scholastic Art Competition; the Chess Team for participating in the state competition; and six students who graduated from the Plumbers Bridge Program.
The recognitions were presented by Principal Dr. Hector Freytas and acknowledged by Board President Deanna Zalas. The minutes note the recognitions but do not list student names in the public record included in the agenda packet.
