The board approved authorizing F3 Law to represent the district in matters previously assigned to Kriha Boucek, LLC, after administration reported that the two firms will combine effective Jan. 1, 2026. Dr. Zaher told the board the district needs to sign a transfer-of-engagement letter and submit it before the effective merger date to continue representation by the same attorneys.
Mr. Downer moved to approve F3 Law as counsel for matters previously handled by KB; Mr. Blair seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The action directs district legal-administration staff to execute the transfer documentation with the combined firm before Jan. 1, 2026.
