The Board of Education of Township High School District 208 approved a resolution abating the district's working cash fund in the amount of $4,503,063.09 at its Feb. 24, 2026 Committee of the Whole and Special meeting.
"The Board of Education, Township High School District 208, Cook County, Illinois, hereby approves the abatement of the working cash fund in the amount of $4,503,063.09 as presented in the February 24, 2026 Board Agenda Packet," Ms. Lorena Gasca moved. The motion was seconded by Mr. William Durkin and carried with all seven members voting AYE.
Board President Deanna Zalas and other trustees did not record any NAY or abstentions on the motion. The abatement was presented in the Board packet; no amendment or further discussion is recorded in the minutes. The action will affect the district's internal allocation of cash reserves and is recorded as Resolution #15245.
