Board hears curriculum committee debate on grade scale, to consider speech requirement pilot in March

Dr. Enright also described proposed classroom speech requirements that teachers asked to pilot for one year; the board plans to review and vote on speech requirement changes at its March meeting. Mr. Baird said he will take board concerns to lead teachers. Committee members said they are awaiting guidance on the use of artificial intelligence in classroom settings before finalizing any policy changes.
