Board hears curriculum update on Manufacturing and Health Care pathways; GPA adjustment to come to April meeting

Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum Dr. Patrick Enright told the board about ongoing Manufacturing Pathway projects at Richmond-Burton and an emerging Health Care industry pathway involving area schools. He also reported on professional development efforts and ongoing work with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) to support certified staff license renewals.
Dr. Enright indicated that an adjusted GPA proposal will be presented for board action at the April meeting. The curriculum item was presented as information during the March 11 meeting; no vote on the GPA change occurred at this session.
