Superintendent Dr. Lind briefed the board on a Special Education audit during the Jan. 21 meeting, saying the audit identified several areas needing improvement across district practices. Dr. Lind described the audit as intensive and invited board members to follow‑up engagement on the findings.
BM Johnson asked specifically about the cost of the audit and whether board members would be allowed to question the consulting firm after the report is presented. Dr. Lind also invited the board to the Nippersink D2 Resource Fair at RGS as part of ongoing district engagement.
