Prospect Heights board approves IT and work-order systems: Incident IQ renewal and Empist network/UPS purchases

At its May 14 meeting Prospect Heights School District 23 approved a five-year renewal agreement for the Incident IQ platform and authorized a contract with Empist to modernize network racks and UPS units across district facilities.
The Incident IQ renewal was approved by motion; the administration cited multi-year pricing stability and expanded functionality. The packet included a vendor quote and the Board recorded the motion “to approve the five-year agreement with Incident IQ for the total cost of $71,307,” with the motion made by Mrs. Peters and seconded by Dr. Long; the motion passed 7–0. The meeting materials also contained a detailed Incident IQ line-item quote for platform modules and year-by-year pricing projections.
Separately the Board approved Empist's SOW to replace network racks and UPS units with a one-time procurement total of $40,128.22; motions passed 7–0 (mover Mrs. Peters; second Mr. Nordmark). The Empist Statement of Work in the packet lists specific rack models, Eaton UPS units, PDUs, fiber and cabling notes and professional services to configure and monitor the new UPS systems. Administration said district technology staff will coordinate rack installs and configuration with Empist.
