Lockport SD 91 approves local funding for Title I and authorizes FY27 budget preparation

At the March 10 meeting the Lockport School District 91 Board of Education voted to provide local funding to support the district's Title I program and separately authorized preparation of the tentative FY2027 budget.
The Title I funding motion was moved by Board President Garrett and seconded by Oxley-Turner; the roll call recorded ayes from Oxley-Turner, Rodriguez, Fracaro, Pinn, Garrett and Cutforth. The motion to prepare the tentative FY27 budget was made by Oxley-Turner and seconded by Garrett and likewise carried on a roll-call vote. Specific dollar amounts and budget line-item details were not included in the minutes and will be developed during the budget-preparation process.
