Lindop SD 92 tables amended FY25–26 budget, schedules public budget hearing for June 16

The Lindop School District 92 Board of Education tabled approval of the amended fiscal-year 2025–26 budget at its May 13 meeting after staff reported changes. The motion to table was made by Brian Dawson and seconded by Maxine Johnson; the vote was Patterson, Dawson, Johnson and Myrick in favor with Buchanan, Griffin and Hannah absent.
Business manager Ms. Gutierrez explained the changes and told the board a Budget Hearing will be held at the June 16 regular meeting; the board will consider final adoption following that hearing. The board recorded the procedural vote as a table (no budget adopted at this meeting), preserving the district’s ability to adjust figures after the hearing.
The scheduling gives the public an opportunity to review proposed changes at the June 16 Budget Hearing before the board acts.
