Lindop SD 92 board approves consent agenda; adopts multiple policies and accepts financial reports

The Lindop School District 92 Board of Education approved its consent agenda at the May 13 regular meeting, adopting a series of policies and accepting district financial reports. The motion, made by Vice President Brian Dawson and seconded by President Jonathan Patterson, passed with Patterson, Dawson, Maxine Johnson and Orrin Myrick voting yes; board members Buchanan, Griffin and Hannah were absent.

The consent agenda included approval of meeting minutes, accounts payable totaling $195,656.97 and payroll of $429,292.88, and acceptance of the April 2026 Monthly Financial Report. The board also adopted the second reading of numerous policies, including 2:140-E, 2:200, 2:250, 2:260, 4:165, 5:30, 5:50, 5:250, 5:330, 6:65, 6:100, 6:145, 6:170, 6:180, 7:20, 7:50, 7:100, 7:185, 7:220, 7:230, 7:240, 7:260, 7:280, 7:300 and 8:90 as presented. These policy codes were recorded in the motion and will be added to the district policy manual as adopted.

Board members did not request further discussion before the vote. The approvals place the district’s routine financial obligations and an updated policy package in effect pending any clerical processing. The board scheduled its next regular meeting for June 16, 2026, when the administration has planned a Budget Hearing prior to final action on the amended fiscal-year budget.
