The board approved several student field trips and extracurricular fundraisers at its May 4 meeting.
Field trips approved include: Corydon Intermediate Essential Skills trip to Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN on May 8, 2026; a National FFA Organization community service trip to Old Mill Canoes in Fredericksburg, IN on June 3, 2026; and an overnight State FFA Convention trip (June 14–17, 2026) to the Hamilton Event Center in Noblesville, IN. The motions to approve field trips were made and passed under the board's field trip motion (moved by Larry Hauswald) with unanimous votes.
Approved fundraisers include a Corydon Central football team golf scramble scheduled for May 29, 2026; Health Occupations Students of America sales in September 2026; and a South Central track team raffle on May 6, 2026. The minutes record these fundraisers were approved as submitted; the board did not include fundraising budgets or projected revenue in the minutes.
