Winfield SD 34 plans annual middle-school lessons and screenings through Elyssa's Mission mental-health program

Peters told the board the program is intended to complement existing mental-health practices and to help normalize conversations about mental health so students and families are more likely to seek help. The board recorded the presentation and did not take separate action at the meeting.
