Commissioners approve routine line-item transfers, budget amendments and claims; auditor announces budget season

The county auditor (introduced on the agenda as Miss Ollerth) told the court that the office had begun budget season and would distribute initial budget documents and time slots to department heads. "Our offices have met, budget season has started, so our office is working on getting out the initial budget documents out to all the department heads," Ollerth said.
Ollerth summarized the week's accounts-payable invoices, noting that the claims package included TIF and tax repayments and juror payments. The court approved the line-item transfers and claims for payment by motion.
No unusual or one-off allocations were recorded during the public exchange; the auditor said the process would follow the format used in prior years and that elected officials and department heads will be notified of their review times.
