Superintendent Ryan Swan reported financial and program updates in his superintendent's report. "The State owes the school district $218,554.42 as of March 31, 2026," he said, citing the district's receivable balance from the state. The board received that update without further action at this meeting.
Swan also described the district's Summer Feeding Program: SUN grab-and-go meals will be distributed Wednesdays from May 27 through July 29, 2026 at Casey Middle School from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Food Service Director Sarah Kluck told the board last year’s program produced an “overwhelming response,” and the district will use available Food Service funds and staff to operate the sites again.
