Superintendent announces 10-year life-safety audit, special education review and maintenance updates

Superintendent Dr. Lind updated the Richmond-Burton CHSD 157 Board on several district oversight and safety items at the Oct. 15 meeting. He said a "10 Year Life Safety audit scheduled for Summer of 2026 performed by Wold Engineers," provided status on the Maintenance Building Project and outlined a planned Special Education Review by American Educational Consultants with a defined timeline and scope.
Dr. Lind also noted that the district provided "I Love You Guys" training on Oct. 10, 2025 for full staffs at D157 and D2. These items were presented as informational reports; no formal board action was taken at the meeting on the audit, the maintenance project or the special education review.
