At the start of New Business presentations, the Belding Area School District Board of Education heard student presentations from the district robotics club and the high-school FFA on Nov. 17.
Head Robotics Coach Alex Colville and assistant coach Ricardo Ramirez presented on the Lego Robotics Club, which the minutes describe as two teams of six second-grade students; four students attended the meeting and presented their projects. Later, five FFA students summarized conferences, fundraisers, projects and contests they had participated in and thanked the board for support that helped the program grow.
The minutes record the robotics presentation had been added to the agenda earlier in the meeting. No contest results, award amounts, or funding details were included in the minutes; specific project details and student remarks were summarized rather than quoted verbatim.
