The Texas County Board of Commissioners opened its June 22 meeting by approving a broad set of claims and purchase orders across multiple funds and departments, including general, district, fair board, public health, sheriff and sales-tax-related funds. The motion to approve the itemized claims list carried with aye votes from Sledge, Bickford and Edwards.
The board also approved the minutes of the prior meeting and the Monthly Appropriations for June. The county clerk certified the meeting minutes at the close of the session.
Several smaller administrative items were approved without extended discussion, including appointment of requisitioning and receiving officers, juvenile-detention interlocal agreement, and group memberships for firefighters. All routine votes were unanimous.
