Board materials show the Net56 agreements are part of the district's plan to secure and centralize IT operations, with the vendor responsible for daily network administration and security services. "I move to approve the 5 year contract with Net 56 for managed informational technology services at an annual cost of $208,310.56," Matt Tibble said as he moved the motion. Administrators said the multi-year contracts will provide predictable annual budgeting for IT while improving system reliability and firewall protections.
The board did not discuss alternative vendors or cost comparisons on the record during the open meeting; votes were recorded by roll call with Heather Armstrong, Dave Hempe, Lynn Kammes, Dan Krasinski, Carrie Linden, Matt Tibble and Alisa Wolfe all recorded as voting "Yea." The contracts will take effect as laid out in the vendor proposals and will be subject to standard procurement and contract-execution processes.
