Board discusses timing to renew operating and sinking fund millages expiring in 2026

"Discussion ensued regarding both millages expiring in 2026 and when to place them on the ballot," Kapolka said. Trustees asked procedural questions about timing, voter outreach and how renewal timing could align with other local ballots; no formal action or vote was recorded in the minutes on March 9.
Board members requested additional information and follow-up from staff on options and recommended timing so the board can make an informed decision before placing a millage question before voters.
