The Bridgman Public School District Board of Education voted to authorize Bridgman High School students to attend DECA Internationals in Atlanta, Ga., April 24–29, 2026.
DECA advisor Sarah Douglass told the board there are "ten students and two chaperones going," and she thanked the board for prior financial support for the team. Member Nancy Hawley moved to approve the trip; Member Brad Owen supported the motion, which carried 5–0. The district's consent agenda and travel approvals were taken during the regular meeting on March 23, 2026.
The district will provide logistics and the board did not place additional conditions on the travel authorization. The board's minutes list this as an action item and show the motion passed unanimously.
