Board adopts meeting schedule, agenda format and public-participation rules
Summary
The Bridgman board set regular meeting timing and notice rules, adopted an agenda format (Exhibit B), and approved public participation rules and Robert's Rules of Order; all procedural motions passed unanimously.
At the organizational meeting the board established meeting frequency, notice methods and purposes for special and emergency meetings under Policies #0164.1–#0165.3, and approved an agenda format contained in Exhibit B (Policy #0166). A motion to adopt meeting requirements and notice procedures carried 7-0 after being moved and seconded by board members.
The board also formally adopted public participation rules (Policy #0167.3) and Robert’s Rules of Order as the board’s parliamentary authority (Policy #0161). These procedural adoptions were presented as part of standard organizational business and recorded without amendment in the minutes.
