Superintendent Brent Noskey told the board about an incident at the high school the previous Friday, thanked high‑school staff and first responders, and said the district will hold a debrief meeting with staff and students. He also informed the board that the district will participate in a Special Education audit in the coming weeks.
Noskey recognized Business Professionals of America students for recent competitive success at Davenport University and thanked teacher Patricia Loser for her leadership. He also congratulated the Color Guard teams for their performance at a Michigan Color Guard Circuit exhibition. Board member Sarah Foss asked that the administration prepare and share descriptions of the district's different "secure mode" responses with parents; Noskey and the administration agreed to compile that information.
