The Dundee Community Schools Board of Education approved a purchase of food service items not to exceed $8,895.88 at its Feb. 9 meeting.
"To approve the purchase of items for the Food Service department as presented at a total cost not to exceed $8,895.88," moved Keith Pilbeam; the motion was seconded by Patricia Motylinski and passed unanimously. The clerk recorded the vote as 7–0 in favor.
The transcript indicates funds for the purchase will come from the food service balance and that balance needs to be spent for the fiscal year. The Board did not record additional line-item detail or vendor names in the open session notes.
The district will proceed with procurement consistent with the approved dollar limit and applicable purchasing rules.
