Dundee Community Schools board elects officers, sets committees and meeting dates for 2026

The Dundee Community Schools Board of Education on Jan. 12, 2026 elected Christian Freshour as board president for the 2025–2026 year and approved a full slate of officers and committee assignments.
The board approved Keith Pilbeam as vice president and Tara McKenzie as secretary, with Patricia Motylinski named treasurer. The motion to elect Freshour was made by Keith Pilbeam and seconded by Carol Reaume and passed with a recorded vote of Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1 (Patricia Motylinski). The board also adopted its 2026 meeting dates as presented.
Trustees set standing committees and ad hoc appointments: Personnel/Finance (Patricia Motylinski); Facility/Maintenance (Keith Pilbeam and Kimberly Wilkins); Wellness (Crystal Root and Carol Reaume); School Improvement/Curriculum Adoption (Tara McKenzie and Crystal Root). The board selected Tara McKenzie and Carol Reaume as its two voting delegates to the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) Delegate Assembly, consistent with the district's enrollment entitlement.
