ICISD board approves agenda, minutes and adjourns after nine-minute special meeting

At a Nov. 18 special meeting the Ionia County Intermediate School District board approved the meeting agenda and two sets of minutes, recorded attendance, and adjourned at 8:39 a.m. Trustee Kerry Possehn was noted absent.
The Ionia County Intermediate School District Board of Education convened a special board meeting on Nov. 18, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. in the Flat River Conference Room. President Linda Hoxie-Green called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance; Vice-President Randy Masterson moved to approve the meeting agenda and Secretary Amber Rood seconded. The minutes record the motion as passing unanimously.
The board then approved the Oct. 9 and Nov. 13, 2025 meeting minutes on a motion from Secretary Amber Rood, supported by President Linda Hoxie-Green; the roll-call vote was unanimous among members present. The minutes list Trustee Kerry Possehn as absent. President Hoxie-Green adjourned the meeting at 8:39 a.m.; the special meeting lasted approximately nine minutes. "Moved by R. Masterson, supported by A. Rood, to approve the meeting agenda as presented. Motion passed unanimously" is the verbatim motion recorded in the minutes.
