Ionia County ISD fiscal office plans amended budget after clean audit

Marvin Van Nortwick of Fiscal Services reported that the district's audit "went well" and thanked his staff for their work during the audit process. Van Nortwick said he hopes to present 'Amended Budget 1' at the December board meeting for review and any required action.
Because the Nov. 13 session did not reach quorum, the board did not formally accept or adopt any budget documents at that meeting. Van Nortwick's planned December presentation will give trustees the opportunity to consider any adjustments and to vote if a quorum is present.
