At its March 23 meeting the Lake Shore Board approved routine governance actions in a set of motions taken under Items for Action. The consent agenda was approved by motion of Amy Thomas-August and seconded by Kenneth Gulock; the personnel report was approved on the same motioners, and the board approved extension of certain non-unit administrative contracts following the Department of Employee Services’ recommendations. All votes were recorded as six yeas, zero nays, and one absence (Elizabeth Munger).
These items were handled in sequence and recorded as passed; no substantive amendments or public debate on the personnel and contract items were included in the meeting record. The approvals permit the administration to implement recommended staffing and contract extensions as documented by Employee Services.
