Ionia County ISD board approves Emergency Operations Plan after executive session

The Ionia County Intermediate School District Board approved the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) after convening in executive session Dec. 11. The board moved into closed session at 4:22 p.m. to "hold a discussion regarding the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) as requested by the Ionia ISD administration and as allowed under Section 8(k) of the Open Meetings Act," and returned to regular session at 4:37 p.m.
After the closed-session discussion, Member Randy Masterson moved and Member Kerry Possehn supported approval "to approve the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) as presented." A roll call vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously. The board adjourned at 4:38 p.m.
