The Ionia County Intermediate School District Board unanimously approved Amendment I to the 2025–26 budgets for the General Fund, Special Education Fund, and Vocational Education Fund at its Dec. 11 meeting. The board approved the written resolutions adopting the amended appropriations and authorized Board President Linda Hoxie-Green to sign resolutions in the absent secretary's stead.
The budget documents attached to the minutes show adjustments to projected revenues and appropriations. For the General Fund, the minutes report total revenues increased by $168,664.77 to $7,295,225.77 and total appropriations of $7,187,535.77. Special Education Fund figures include an amended revenue increase of $553,229.00 and an amended total appropriated of $28,151,129.00. The Vocational Education Fund amendment shows adjustments including a state revenue increase and total appropriations of $2,815,776.00. The motion to approve the amended budgets was moved by Randy Masterson, supported by Brian Talbot, and passed on a roll call vote.
