Board members reviewed recommended expenditures: $160,000 from the general fund for paper for the 2025–26 school year via cooperative purchasing; up to $40,151 from 2023 capital funds for media shelving at Pine Ridge; up to $350,000 from the general fund for diesel fuel for 2025–26 (the presenter noted prior-year diesel spend of $263,000 in 2024–25 and $307,000 the year before), and an $81,646.50 reimbursement to Kent County related to reassessment. The diesel purchase will use multiple vendor quotes and day-of pricing.
