Superintendent Eding reported that the district finalized updated long-term Vision, Mission and Core Values statements, held the high school commencement ceremony, and conducted a year-end all-staff meeting that honored retiring employees and presented Distinguished Educator and Support Staff awards.
The board recognized student representative Logan Hendrix at his final meeting and introduced Abbie Luckman as the incoming student representative for 2026–27. Committee updates included Community Connections Committee remarks from Susan Toothman about student activities and staff appreciation week, and Facilities & Finance Committee work preparing for labor-negotiation guidelines and reviewing year-end financial reports ahead of the budget presentation. CFO Tracy Althouse prepared budget summaries that were presented to the board at the meeting.
