Board requests meeting with Olpe Fitness Park committee, tables further action until February

The board moved to delay further action on the Olpe Fitness Park while arranging a preparatory meeting with committee members and district representatives. Ryan Gasche made the motion, Brad Hoelting seconded it, and the motion passed unanimously, 6–0.
The motion directs that a meeting be requested with Olpe Fitness Park Committee members, board representatives (identified in the minutes as Emily Darbyshire, Ryan Gasche and Tim Bailey) and Superintendent Ryan Muhlig prior to the board's regular February meeting so that additional information can be presented to the full board.
No substantive board decision or funding commitment was made on Jan. 15; further discussion and any possible action will occur during the February meeting after the requested meeting takes place.
