CFO Tracy Althouse presented the Truth in Budget hearing at 5:15 p.m., and the Lakeshore Board of Education subsequently accepted a 2025–26 preliminary final budget modification and the proposed 2026–27 budget for the General Fund, School Service Funds and Debt Fund.
The board voted to adopt the related appropriation resolution by a motion moved by Secretary Lori VonKoenig and supported by Trustee Jason Beckrow; the roll call vote recorded ayes from Lori VonKoenig, Jason Beckrow, Bill Scaletta, Griffin Ott and President Rachel Wade and no nays. Following that action, Trustee Jason Beckrow moved and Bill Scaletta supported certification of the 2026 tax levy "as presented," which also carried on a unanimous roll call.
Superintendent Eding had earlier noted that the district finalized updated long-term Mission, Vision and Core Values statements and celebrated the year-end commencement; CFO Althouse had prepared summaries of preliminary and final budgets for the board following Facilities & Finance Committee review.
