Linda Winslow, foundation president, reported the Foundation awarded 145 local scholarships benefiting 127 students across 67 scholarship funds and completed 32 grants to teachers, staff and students (large grants up to $2,500; small grants up to $300). She summarized other work including Pendill Wall recognitions and community engagement through events and local bank partners.
Winslow highlighted a children’s savings initiative, "First to Finish," that starts accounts for first graders with seed deposits: "$60 ($50 from Foundation, $10 from partner banks, Range Bank and Incredible Bank) for every first grader," the record notes. The program’s first cohort is entering eighth grade and the Foundation reported incentive activity for sixth graders and matching dollars for deposits.
Board members acknowledged the Foundation’s scholarship scale and grant support and thanked the Foundation for seed funding that supports early‑years investment and student achievement efforts.
