The board heard reports on athletics and recent academic competitions. Athletic Director Glen Samson reviewed spring sports records and participant numbers, and recognized individual honors: Ryder Gorham was named First Team All-State and Owen Gorham earned Second Team All-State. Samson also recognized both boys' and girls' basketball teams for earning Team Academic All-State honors.
Middle/High School Principal Bobby Kretschman reported MS/HS enrollment at 233 students (down two from March), congratulated Theresa Jennett and the Science Olympiad teams for finishes (HS second place, MS third place in Class D) and noted the 6th-grade Clue-Me-In team earned first place. Kretschman distributed a May events calendar and reviewed upcoming testing schedules.
