Jennifer McKay, Marysville Public Schools' executive director of business and finance, told the Board on May 13 that the district received bids for renovations to the Marysville High School practice field and recommended awarding the contract to Davey Expert Tree Company.
McKay said the recommended award is "to Davey Expert Tree Company, the most responsive and qualified of the bidders, in the amount of $122,140.00 from the Building and Site Fund." She told trustees the Board will be asked to approve the contract at the Regular meeting on May 21, 2026. The recommendation packet in the meeting materials included the bid tabulation and funding source.
Board members did not take a vote at the informational meeting. The contract recommendation, if approved on May 21, will be paid from the Building and Site Fund and should proceed under standard procurement oversight, McKay said.
