At 7:02 p.m. the Board voted to recess to a closed session under Section 8(h) of the Michigan Open Meetings Act, combined with Section 13(1)(g) of the Freedom of Information Act, to discuss material protected by attorney-client privilege. The motion was made by Eric Smith and seconded by Cherryl Maddox-Smith; a roll-call vote showed six ayes and no nays. The meeting recessed to closed session and reconvened at 7:29 p.m.
After reconvening, a motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Cassidy Thomas, seconded by Jennifer Klipp and carried 6-0. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
