MOCSA asks Jackson County for $50,000 to fund three educators for prevention and crisis services

Legislators asked about how new or expanded facilities would increase program reach; Williams responded that on‑site training rooms would allow more in‑house training and deeper partnerships with nearby schools.
The legislature did not take an immediate vote; the request will be considered as part of the county's outside‑agency budgeting process.
