Board briefed on Consolidated Application revisions and Section 41A bilingual/EL budget carryover

Jennifer Nichols reviewed revisions to the Consolidated Application that reallocate carryover funds and described follow-up steps for redistributing resources; she said the revised application will be submitted for Consent Agenda approval next week.
Nichols also presented Section 41A bilingual budget and English Learner program details, explained the carryover balance, and answered board questions. "After submitting the consolidated app for carryover this year, we have some revisions to redistribute funding and resources," Nichols said during the briefing.
Board members engaged with staff on program details and carryover accounting. Administration indicated these items will return on the Consent Agenda at the Action Meeting for formal approval.
