Miss Miranda summarized the RFQ process for annual engineering services, saying the county received 10 submittals and used a selection committee to rank firms. The recommendation was to award six firms to provide a broad range of services; four master contracts were ready for approval at this meeting and staff asked the commission to authorize those master agreements.
Commissioner Williams moved to approve the four complete annual-contract master agreements and a second was received; the motion passed by voice vote. Miss Miranda emphasized that the master contracts do not themselves allocate funding for work—each project will require a separate work order, PO and approval.
